  The whole tour was amazing from start to finish. Checking in for the tour was easy and quick. Our tour guides, Saber and Tony, were really fun and helpful.

  We were looking for an adventure for the whole family (including a 3 and 6 year old) and this hit the mark. The kayaking was relaxing, the hike was muddy but easy, and the rope swing was a nice treat. Ross was also a great guide—my kids loved his jokes and we all appreciated his knowledge and attitude.

  I would love to give this 5 stars because the actual tour is incredible! Unfortunately, we had a terrible guide today. Saber was late and slow on getting the tour started. (we were told to be there at 8:30, we did not even get started till 930) We were not given ANY instruction on our kayaks, oars, or safety. He never even mentioned life jackets. He never introduced himself or welcomed us….nothing! Shortly after heading out, one couple flipped their kayak. The woman was underneath the kayak for a period of time, lost her cell phone, and the couple was quite shaken. He seemed annoyed when several of the older ones in the group were taking a little longer and was not concerned for their safety. He was constantly on his cell phone. We were shocked! We were never given any information on the surrounding area, the history, the vegetation, absolutely nothing. I know there are other outfits that do this same tour, and I would definitely go with them over Outfitters Kauai! I called the company on our return and was told he must have been having an "off day" Well, I see almost an identical terrible review was left for him last month, so it certainly was not just an off day! This company does not care about your safety! Saber should not be a tour guide!

  Quite an adventure for a couple of oldsters with little kayak experience! Our guide Ross was so knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, as well as cultural and historical sites along the way -- and so patient and encouraging. The hike through rocky forest terrain and fording streams was rewarded with the arrival at the magnificent waterfall. The challenge was kayaking back against the wind, but, all-in-all quite exhilarating!

  This paddle/hike was a super experience for both myself and my wife. We had the most amazing tour guides. Hawaiian Brian was so knowledgeable about the land, language and culture; we loved hearing all about it and learned to appreciate the land we were using. He was also generous with offering to take pretty great photos of each group in our party. Ross the Boss was attentive to all in our party and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know what we were passionate about and connecting with each of us. He shared stories about the islands, shared info and points of interest along our drive, discussed other great hiking trails on the Islands and told lots of dad jokes. This experience was a fairly easy paddle and hike to a great waterfall/pool; I’d recommend it to everybody. There was plenty of water provided and the packed lunch was delicious and plentiful. The timing of the whole experience was perfect to allow our group ample time at the waterfall without being over crowded! ** We hope Hawaiian Brian was able to recover his phone. 🤞🏼

  This was a fun, easygoing kayak trip up the river and a really cool jungle hike that included stream crossings to the falls. I can't say enough good things about Brian. He had a great attitude, was super friendly and is what made this extra memorable for us. I'm an avid hiker and even though the trail was pretty easy and fairly short, it was beautiful and unique (albeit muddy, but hey it rains a lot here so no worries). Brian showed us lots of cool stuff about the plants along the way, and even wove a short length of rope from strips of plant stalks he found along the trail as we walked -- skills! We went on a really high traffic day, so the trail and the falls were pretty crowded, just fyi. Once at the falls he helped everyone get pics, and gave us plenty of time to hang out and eat a delicious lunch. Such a great time. On a side note, when we called to confirm the meeting time/location that morning, the young lady who helped us was super nice, too.

  Saber was a great tour guide and this 5 hour adventure is the best way to enjoy the beautiful river views, get a little workout, enjoy a hike (it WILL be wet and muddy, so prepare!) and see one of the most beautiful waterfalls you'll ever see up close. Saber will make sure to take a great panoramic picture for you at the falls! Small enough group that it didn't feel unwieldy. Definitely recommend doing this adventure!

  So when you book the tours online that say 7:45 am, you should know that they don’t start until 9. This isn’t mentioned upfront or in the confirmation emails. When the new start time conflicted with other activities they refused a refund because we were within the window of no cancellations. Lost a good deal of money that way. Know that ahead of time.

  Had an absolutely wonderful experience kayaking and hiking with The family. Our guide Bruce was a rockstar and frankly made the adventure even better than the beautiful surroundings. It was an unforgettable trip for my wife and kids. Bruce and Outfitters Rock!!

  Nice easy kayaking, lots of chatting with other guests. Mitch and Noah were kind and easy going, a pleasure the whole time. On the hike Mitch offered great commentary on the history and plants. THEN, the rope swing into the river pool was just excellent fun. Couldn't be happier with the trip. Thanks so much.
